Rampage make debut in Division 1
with great comback victory

September 6, 2008 - The Rampage new they were in for a difficult transition to Division 1. It took 70 minutes before they realized they could actually compete well enough to earn a victory in their Division 1 debut against the Commack Starz. After being down 1-0 for most of the game, Alex G. found a way to inject some needed confidence in her teammates by scoring a fantastic goal with just under 20 minutes to play in the game.

After an injury forced Sophie K. to come out of the game, Elsa H. had to slide to center back to fill the void left by Sophie. After only a few minutes of rest, Sophie was inserted back in but this time as a forward. Sophie made the best of her 15 minutes up front. She used her speed to break free with under 10 minutes to play, and scored the game winner.

After Sophie's goal, the Rampage did a great job at managing the clock and slowing down Commack's relentless push to tie the game. Ana S. continued her stellar play in goal, making several key saves to help clinch the victory.
