Silviu joined the SABA staff after a stellar college career at NYIT. As the captain of NYIT, Silviu led the Bears to 2 NCAA appearances. In 2005, Silviu was named team MVP after leading his squad to an Elite 8 appearance. Sylviu has played in the 2nd and 3rd Divisions of the Romanian Professional League. As a youth player, his team captured the U11 National Championship.
Silviu is a full time SABA staff coach as well as the Assistant coach for the Manhantanville Men's team.
